Procedure Fasting and Bowel Preparation

Fasting is required before ALL procedures, except for stand-alone iron infusions.

Bowel preparation is required before all procedures with a colonoscopy.

See below instructions for your procedure type and note that we can provide these instructions in Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Vietnamese and Hindi.

Bowel Preparation Instructions - Colonoscopy

Your procedure confirmation email will advise which specific bowel preparation you need to follow - please download your instructions below. Please note that bowel preparation is STANDARD (1 or 2) unless you have been advised otherwise.  In addition, please note that if you use a medication such as Ozempic/Wegovy/Mounjaro (GLP1s), you must amend the bowel preparation to a liquid diet only for 24 hours prior and fast from food/liquids 6hours prior to procedure (for example, amend the usual timing of drinking your final sachet to more than 6 hours prior to your arrival time).
