Meyya Venkat is an Accredited Practising Dietitian

Meyya grew up in Singapore and completed her training in Western Australia. She holds a Master of Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) from Curtin University.

With a special interest in gastrointestinal health, Meyya is dedicated to addressing conditions like irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease and correcting associated deficiencies. She takes a food-first approach to ensure long-term sustainability of interventions. Meyya is passionate about helping individuals understand their intolerances to enhance their quality of life and transform mealtimes into enjoyable experiences.

Meyya believes personalised care is paramount and tailors strategies to suit individual lifestyles, food preferences and cultural backgrounds. Her extensive experience spans a wide age range, from supporting individuals as young as 8 months to those in their golden years. She consults in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs in both the clinical and community settings, and her consultations at GSC are Telehealth.
